NLP – Neuro Linguistic Program
NLP is an approach to our human behavior. Our language, our behavior and the way we communicate.
Here the definition:
Neuro – A humans ability to take in information and translate it in our brains using our five senses.
Linguistic – Our communication to others, both verbal and non-verbal.
Programming – Everyone is familiar with this term nowadays. How we can program a computer to do what we want. Translate that to our brain system and we can program our brains to get the best for us out of our lives.
NLP was founded in the ’70’s by Richard Bandler and John Grinder. NLP is their results of studying outstanding people in different walks of society both personally and professionally and identifying their thought patterns and behaviors.
When Richard Bandler and John Grinder studied these successful people, they asked “can we determine what process is inside these people’s brains?” The answer was YES. NLP was created on what works for people in their lives.
For the example, Man A has a glass of water and to him it looks like it is half empty, whereas Man B has a glass of water, which to him looks like it is half full. Who do you think is the successful one?
The answer is Man B, because he can see the overall picture of the glass and the amount of water in it. And to be honest Man A can behave the same way, just by altering his mind set.
You cans see that NLP teaches us how use our senses and in what order. Create a rapport with other and build positive relationships. Create in our lives what we think in a Good and Positive way.
